Day 1

Arrive Hanoi

Welcome to Vietnam!!

Hanoi – the thousand year old capital of Vietnam. Upon arrival, greet and meet by the guide then transfer to the hotel. Stay the remainder of the day at leisure to recover from your long haul flight.

Day 2

Hanoi

In the morning, we visit the complex dedicated to Ho Chi Minh – the nation’s founder, containing Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum (viewed from outside), and house on stilts. This complex also comprises the One Pillar Pagoda, whose origins date back to the foundation of the city.

We next visit Van Mieu – Quoc Tu Giam (Temple of Literature & Vietnam’s first university). Constructed in 11th century, the gardens and well-preserved architecture offer a relaxing glimpse into Vietnam's past.

In the afternoon, we take a walk in to the Old Quarter to discover the most charming area of the city to find out how local live by their traditional work generation by generation. Passing by road-side market in the city such as Cho Hang Be, or Dong Xuan market where you can see many fresh herbs, local ingredients. We will also see lots of food stall during the walk. Taking this opportunity to taste some local food as you wish to.

Following, relax yourself with 60 minutes Foot Reflex massage at a local Spa in the Old Quarter area.

Day 3

Hanoi – Ha Long Bay

At 08.00am, we depart for a three-hour and a half transfer to the Ha Long Bay – UNESCO World Natural Heritage – where thousands of spectacular limestone islets and grottoes rising from the clear emerald Gulf of Tonkin.

Arrive at Tuan Chau Harbor, take a break and welcome drink at Alisa Cruise Lounge before boarding to Alisa Cruise

Welcome to Alisa Cruise! Enjoy a welcome drink while our cruise manager gives a brief introduction, safety guidelines bout Alisa Cruise. Check-in your cabin and start cruising and explore Halong Bay – one of the New Seven Wonders of Nature.

Enjoy lunch with Vietnamese and International dishes served while cruising in the magnificent Halong Bay, admiring the fascinating rock formations in the bay.

After lunch, continues to cruising exploration in HA LONG BAY passing by Cua Van Floating Village, Tien Ong Cave, Trong Cave, the Ho-dong Tien cave, Luon cave... Customers also have chance to experience how beautiful are for Incense Burner, Dog Stone Islet, Fighting Cock, Soi Sim beach, Coconut Three Island

Arrival in Lan Ha Bay in Tung Gau Area – The most beautiful area in Halong Bay with wild natural beauty.

KAYAKING OR BAMBOO BOAT ROWING

Visiting Luon Cave, the perfect combination of limestone mountains and jade-green sea by bamboo boat with local people. Enjoy quiet space and pure air, you will feel relaxed truly. If you are lucky, you will see monkeys on islands.

Join the cooking class guided directly by Chef of Alisa Cruise.  on sundeck –  Our Chef will guides how to make Vietnamese spring rolls - traditional Vietnamese food. Then enjoy Happy Hour (Buy one drink get one free). It is time for chit chat and relaxes. Watch the magnificent sunset over Halong Bay.

After Kayaking at 16:00, we will have 2 options to visit because we cannot visit both places as it is not enough time and it is also depending on specific date, weather conditions and seasons (Summer or Winter)

OPTION 1: VISITING PEARL FARM VILLAGE

16:00:   Visiting Halong Pearl Farm Village. Travelers will have a chance to visit Floating Pearl Farm and see how local people produce the great pearls. This Pearl Farm Village was established in 1995 by a Japanese organization, after years run by Japanese experts, it was transferred for Vietnamese. Our guide will show you around the farm and the museum there and explained how the process is done. You will pass a floating raft where some kinds of oyster pearls are grown and transplanted such as South Sea pearl, Tahitian Black Pearl,…etc. After that, you will see a processing room where workers transplanting oysters and understand some precious species of pearl. The last, you could see one of the workers here opening an alive oyster in front of your eyes to see pearl inside and then have to look their achievement in the showroom!

 

OPTION 2:  VISITING TITOP ISLAND FOR SWIMMING ( Not in winter )

16.00:   Visiting the beautiful Ti Top beach for swimming (if the weather permits), Ti Top Beach is especially famous for its fresh atmosphere, clean water, and smooth white sand that create a great ambiance for tourists to relax or passengers can take steps to reach the top of  Ti Top beach to have a whole panorama view of Halong Bay.

17:30:   Come back to our Alisa Cruise and relax by enjoying Sun Set party with Juices, Cocktails, Red Vine and fruits on Alisa Sky  Bar.

Day 4

Halong Bay – Danang – Hoi An

Early morning sun risers can enjoy Tai Chi Le session on the sundeck. Tai chi also called Tai Chi Chuan, combines deep breathing and relaxation with slow and gentle movements. Coffee, tea, and pastries for light breakfast are served in the dining room with the morning view of bay’s landscape.

Transfer by tender to Sung Sot Cave. Walk up about 100 steps to the cave entrance. It takes approximately 45 minutes for cave visiting. Visit Sung Sot Cave, one of the biggest caves in Halong bay with beautiful stalactites and stalagmites. Return to the boat by tender. Proper shoes are highly recommended.

Check-out and settle bills at reception. Having brunch before disembarkation.

 

Upon disembarkation at the pier, we transfer to the airport for our onward flight to Da Nang.

Upon arrival at Da Nang airport, you will be greeting by the local guide. Then you will be preceding to Hoi An ancient town which is about 30 minutes’ driving from Da Nang. Checking in our hotel upon arrival and you will be leisure at night.

Day 5

Hoi An 

This morning, we take a guided walking tour around Hoi An Ancient Town. Visit the Japanese covered bridge, Chinese assembly hall, a typical Vietnamese merchant’s house, one of the interesting museums and the local market. There’re numerous art galleries, souvenirs and tailor shops where we can get some express made-to-order clothes.

The next visit is to home of a craftsman in the old streets. Here we will have a brief introduction to the history, shape and color of the lanterns as well as stages of making them. After that, making a lantern by our own, decorate, pack and keep it as a souvenir of our time in Hoi An. Transfer back the hotel for relax.

Later in this afternoon, we will join a 75 minutes Yoga Class at Nomad Yoga Studio at 18.00pm (Every day except Sunday as only private class is available). Relax our minds, relax our bodies with an Indian or Vietnamese or foreign Yoga teacher.

Day 6

Hoi An 

Breakfast at the hotel, stay the day at leisure to either explore the town on our own or enjoy the facilities of our beach resort. You can join one of the following option tours (extra costs apply):

 

Optional tour for non-golfers: Hoi An Fish & Chips (Duration: 08:30 - 15:00)

Optional tour including a lunch, basket boat, boat ride, cooking demonstration and escorted tours

This morning, we take an exciting basket boat rowing on the water coconut river and learn how to catch the crabs. Later on, we take boat ride on a stunning river to see how local fishermen catch fish, reach Tra Que- a charming little organic village on the edge of Hoi An, which is named after the sweet scented vegetables that spice up the everyday meals of the local people.

We take a stroll around the vegetable garden and we also can join the farmers in preparing the land and fertilizing it with seaweed from the local lake. Following steps are raking the ground, sowing, watering, and picking vegetables and other gardening activities.

Following, we will join a short cooking demonstration with some local delicacies including ‘tam huu’ spring roll, Banh xeo or local pancake of people in Viet Nam middle region. Enjoy our lunch today at Tra Que Village.

 

Optional for golfers: Golf at Danang Golf Club (Great Links Golf in SE Asia)

Day 7

Hoi An – Danang  - Ho Chi Minh City

After breakfast at the hotel, we transfer to the airport for a short morning flight to Sai Gon (Official name is Ho Chi Minh City).

Suggested flight: VN117/ DAD – SGN/ 10:30 - 11:55

Upon arrival, greeting by the local guide and transfer to our hotel in town for checking in.

Later in the afternoon, we visit the Reunification Palace, former residence of the Indochina Governor General and later President of the Republic of Southern Vietnam until the fall of Saigon in April 30, 1975. We then make a quick stop at the nearby Notre Dame Cathedral, the Opera House and visit the Central Post Office. Following, we are driven to a place where the famous Buddhist Thich Quang Duc self- immolated in June11, 1963.  After his funeral, where his remains were finally reduced to ashes, Quang Duc's heart, which had not burned, was retrieved, enshrined, and treated as a sacred relic. His self- immolation begins people’s up-rising movement largely, which lead to the fall of President Diem regime.

The day ends at the bustling Ben Thanh market for shopping.

Day 8

Ho Chi Minh City 

Breakfast at the hotel, stay the day at leisure. You can join one of the following option tours (extra costs apply):

 

Optional tour for non-golfers: Optional tour “Mekong Delta” (Duration: 08:00 - 17:30)

Optional tour including a lunch, cruise and escorted tours

Depart from Saigon around 8am and head south to Ben Tre province, famous for its coconut production and quiet, peaceful waterways.

On arrivals at Balai Bridge, we take a short walk through a lush shaded garden to Mrs Ba Dung Pier where we will board our Coco River Cruise.

Enjoy our welcome drink with fresh coconut juice while cruising along the canal and head to HuuDinh village. Continue on a rickshaw trip on the village path through rice paddies and coco garden to get to Ca Ro dyke. Stop for a visit at a local house of Mr Hoang who and his wife live on making incense sticks for living. As incenses are used in most temples and local homes those work ship Buddha and ancestor. The local believe that burning incense in the house to keep it cozy. And they also believe that burning incense when they pray to god or ancestor, that holy smoke will transfer their words and god will understand. This traditional job had been existed for many decades.

Afterwards, take a rowing sampan through a beautiful small canal and enjoy the tropical scenery with its tranquility. Along the way, we will see the daily activities from the locals.

Getting back to our boat, we refresh with honey tea and fruits on board and continue cruising to visit another local business, a coconut processing place as Ben Tre has been famous as a coconut land and its products. We will also get to know how useful the coconut is to local life here from coconut fibers, oil, candies, wood etc. This plant plays an important role in the local economy.

Then we continue cruising to a local restaurant for lunch. Enjoy the Mekong Delta specialty and relax before heading back to our boat, cruising back to pier where our car will bring us back to Saigon.

Arrive at our hotel after 2hour drive, leisure and overnight.

Day 9

Ho Chi Minh City 

After breakfast, we travel out of town to the Northwest of Saigon to Cu Chi tunnels, through urbanized areas and a typically lush southern Vietnamese countryside. The tunnel complex was dug in 1948 for the guerrillas to hide from French air and ground sweeps. It was also served as communication routes and food and weapon caches as well as hospitals and living quarters for guerrilla fighters throughout the American war. Visit the underground villages to better understand the tunnels’ history, life in the tunnels and the Vietnamese’s resilience during the combats. Transfer back to the hotel.

Arriving at a local Spa later in this afternoon, relaxing our body with a package of Aroma Ritual with essential oil including 60 minutes massage and 20 minutes Spa.

Ho Chi Minh City – Departure
